Grasshopper is a virtual phone system that provides a number of great features, including a second phone number, but you still need a service provider, and a main phone number, where your Grasshopper calls will be forwarded. New security features have been added to macOS Catalina (10.15) that require additional permissions for using the full feature set of the GoToAssist Expert desktop applications for Windows and Mac and/or RescueAssist. In order to remotely control your customer's Mac running macOS Catalina, the steps below must be performed on the customer's Mac.

As most of you know by now, Grasshopper will be included in Rhino 6 for Windows. We are almost finished with the Grasshopper in Rhino 6 development and you are invited to try it. There are many enhancements, including: High DPI displays are now supported. Compatible with existing Grasshopper plug-ins. It's pretty much all in the question, but here are some specifics. I'm running macOS Sierra. I've downloaded the latest versions: RhinoWIP: 5.3 WIP (5D129w) GHPython 0.6.0.3 (worked until there), Ladybug 0.0.63 and Honeybee 0.0.60.

  • New components including Make2D, Bend, Flow, Maelstrom, Splop, Splorph, Stretch, Taper, and Twist...
  • GhPythonis now included. It features its own GHA compiler and a major node-in-code speed up.
  • Stable development target: Your plug-ins continue to work each minor Grasshopper upgrade.
  • RhinoCommon enhanced: More Rhino core functionality is accessible from within Grasshopper.
  • Developer documentation is online with guides and API references.

Now:

  1. Download the current Rhino WIP for Windows
  2. Try all your existing Grasshopper definitions
  3. Report any problems you find here...

I'm running macOS Sierra.

I've downloaded the latest versions:

Mac Os List

  • RhinoWIP: 5.3 WIP (5D129w)
  • GHPython 0.6.0.3 (worked until there),
  • Ladybug 0.0.63 and Honeybee 0.0.60.

I've copied ItemSelector.gha into ~Library/Application Support/McNeel/Rhinoceros/MacPlugIns/Grasshopper/Libraries, and all of the *.ghuserfiles into ~/Library/Application Support/McNeel/Rhinoceros/MacPlugIns/Grasshopper/UserObjects

Grasshopper For Mac Os 10.13

Now when I try to launch Grasshopper (via the ExplicitHistory command), Rhino becomes unresponsive.
